Bryan Ferry

Was he really rubbish, or was it just the Nazi controversy?

- Vampire Weekend

Think that’s it.

I am utterly jealous, were they good?

I’d never heard of them before that, they were a great support band, tonnes of fun and engaged the audience, waiting ‘til I have spare money to look into ‘em further.

I have not...I have one single but not with me here as I didn’t take my turntable to uni. It has a nice cover so I wouldn’t even be too upset if it wasn’t brilliant smile

-Dirty Projectors

To be fair that was a wicked list of bands! Are you still into the DPs? I’ve enjoyed their new album.

You might like to check out the RBMA Wandering Feet podcast, which features Dave Longstreth discussing their unusual method of songwriting.

I’ve barely heard any of they’re recorded stuff but as soon as I’ve done the boring thing and earned my deposit for next year’s accommodation I’m getting that cassette, out of support of cassette as a format as much as anything! Think they’re playing EOTR too this year so I think I’ll probably see them there...welcome to the boards, by the way!
