Dearest Internet

Word has filtered down that a Fudge’s work is never done. Apparently a comprehensive, thorough, accurate news section is not sufficient for our boys and girls in the Brut. As they have been issued a free jolly to Oregon, Barnaby must chart their excursion via here,

http://delightfullyfudge.blogspot.com/

yours tirelessly

Barnaby Fudge

Art Brut Versus Satan

Album number three has now been committed to some form of recording apparatus, it clearly warrants it’s own thread.

I know there’s plenty of information about the going on during the recording process over at Eddie’s blog, there’s always room for a bit of cross posting though. It’d be nice to get some discussion going on it all.

Here’s the link to an interview over at Pitchfork regarding the album:http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/148206-frank-black-and-art-bruts-eddie-argos-fight-satan

I was caught quite off guard that there was even a new album in the works, but none the less very excited.

Does anyone know when we might be lucky enough to either hear a sample of the new material, or when the new album will be entirely ready for human consumption?

Any folks here on it? My page is: http://last.fm/user/chalet_fanboy. I think it’s a great site. In addition to it’s main purpose, you can use it for most of what you’d use myspace for without all the annoying gumf.

New Royal Family’s Christmas Party Wednesday 3rd December featuring Sex Tourists and more!

WEDNESDAY 3RD DECEMBER, NAMBUCCA, HOLLOWAY ROAD N7

Ding dong merrily on high, can it really be that time again? We’re filling our wellies with excitement at the thrilling line-up of this year’s annual festive bash, starring:

SEX TOURISTS: The Artists Formerly Known As The London Nightbeast are Michael Foot lookalike Rory out of Pink Grease’s ball-burstingly exciting new band. A musically schizophrenic amalgalm of surf/goth/pop/punk/metal/burundi, think Bauhaus meets the Darkness via Flowers of Romance era PiL. Yes, THAT GOOD!

THE NEW ROYAL FAMILY: Increasingly preposterous indie supergroup who’ve thrown the critics off the scent with new single I.W.I.S.H.I.W.A.S.GAY (featuring Alex out of Baxendale and Eddie Argos) being described as “a cross between Chic and the Village People” while their live act has been more accurately compared to Captain Beefheart, Sex Pistols and Monty Python.

THE ABBA STRIPES: Exactly what it says on the tin: all your favourite Abba hits performed in the style of the White Stripes. This is actually much better than it sounds.

SMALL CREW: Richard “Talented one out of the Boyfriends” Adderley’s lowkey new musical experiment. Expect lovely tunes with too many effects pedals.

THE STILTS: No idea about this lot but they seem like a nice bunch.

DON’T BE SQUARE, BE THERE. GO ON, BE YOUR BEST MATE ETC ...
