We all know about the Alcoholics Unanimous Single that is released *thinks* on the 6th of april and we know that they are gonna do another joint song. Please List any bands/artists that should team up with art brut.

Ok, I should have checked if there were already any similar topics, but I´m too lazy to do it, I´m too tired to care and I´m too new in the forum so I can ignore the rules for a little bit (till one of the forum police will jump over me and hit me till I get unconscious?).

This topic is for sharing that art brut related story that all of you have and you wanted to tell...well, tell them! that´s my excuse to tell mine!

I´m Spanish and I lived in London from 2005 summer to 2006, then I had to go back to spain because of family issues...the best things I got from the UK was two bands, art brut and the young knives (I did my part of networking Art Brut and nearly all my friends from spain with good musical tastes know and appreciate now the music of art brut). Before leaving I had the chance to work in the V festival in one of the burguers and fries vendors...that was my excuse to watch Pearl Jam at reading, but as things turn out these pearl jam toor was doomed and I wasn´t able to see them, so for the whole weekend the only gig I wanted to see was the ART BRUT one, it was in a bad and small stage, they were the only band without merchandising and the stupid people from the festival even didnt let us dance properly to the songs (not too violent or you will be trhowed out!) but it was great and worthy of the shitty weekend (well..I also saw 15 minutes of radiohead and 20 of beck ), and the best thing, they were the only british band I saw in concert that really delievered! I had the chance to saw the rakes, editors, the macabees, franz ferdinand...and none of them live up to a really great live concert, but art brut did it!

Now, in the tour of it`s a little bit complicated art brut went to madrid, and I travelled from my city to see the gig....being totally stupid I take the train to not get stucked in the traffic and be late for the gig...obviously the train had a two hours delay and I didn’t reach the venue on time (blame it on the trains!)

So...now I´m really looking forward to see Art Brut these Sunday in Dorchester, I wanna see a real Art brut gig, not a half hour one! just in case this sunday I will take the train really soon to be on time even with delays!

and I already have the ticket for the fist full of fandango gig...does anybody have an idea of how long this gig will be? because I´m afraid that it will be another half hour gig (in the website there were a lot of bands on the same day!).

Finished! sorry for the long text, and if I broke any rule and specially for my crappy english, I´m sure I commited a lot of grammar mistakes!

PD: I repeat here my call for any london art brut fans going to the dorchester gig or even for the fandango gig, I´d like much more to go with other people than solo!

I thought all my christmases had come at once. However, the download link had expired :(

I already have some of the songs featured on it, but not all of them...now I know that such a thing has been out there on a free download, I really want it…

So do any of you have it, can you repost it, or put it back up for download, or tell me where I can get it?
