Yeah they seemed to fade into the part of crowd that didn’t seem to do anything but the occasional nodding of the head (along the side by the door). They should have got there earlier if they were to ensure their place on the barrier, gutted.

They were really annoying. They were like, “You do know, when Art Brut came on you are going to get battered”, and I was like “I have seen them before so don’t try and take my barrier place because there is no way on this earth you are going in front of me, now run along back to art school”, they shut up after that. They tried getting on so I elbowed them. They were annoying, but I can’t believe that people just stood there! Why go then? Haa, we got a massive gap behind us :D

But maybe not getting there so early that we get stuck with no one there and getting evils from staff. Maybe quarter past 5 was a bit too much - better than rain though!

Well I’m doing a show in Birmingham, and staying in Stoke with family, so it’ll be fine, but we’re training it to Stoke, I’ll ask how much it was.
Are you daying it? I can’t go Hanley in the day cos I am at the show, as I said, but we can go at the same time, I’ll find out what time we finish.

Well I think it’s a case of getting a train up to Stoke, going into Hanley during the day, going to the gig and then getting a train back. Okay thanks, but I need to get a return ticket.
