I guess you thought it was all over… New album ‘Brillant! Tragic!’ drops in your face, the Brut party the fuck out for a full, sold out week at The Lexington and, to top it all, a melt-your-face-off awesome AB comic fists its way through your letterbox. Now there you sit, naked from the shirt tails down, puffing on your fifth cigarette, half hoping / half dreading these guys don’t have it in them for one last go around the block. Well, Barnaby hates to be the bearer of bad news but you better crank up Radio 4, shut the windows and get ready for one last AB onslaught.
In anticipation of the release of new single ‘Clever Clever Jazz’ on August 15th, unspecified parties have been nice enough to put together a little video featuring exclusive footage from Art Brut’s infamous Black Francis sessions in Salem, OR., plus some personal pics from the past five years of tour destruction.
And what does Autumn bring? Our power gang are back on the road in the US, Europe and the much anticipated UK, climaxing in a final London date at The Islington Garage on November 4th. Check out dates over on the right or go over to the toff smart FB page for full listings.

I for one am a major fan. Living in an area where bands don’t play much, thats what we get. If you don’t well, I guess we’ll all eat the ribs ourselves. Listen man. Honestly. I have spent my whole day listening to youz guyz and I love everything you do. I’m 56 years old and know my shit. I have no genera of music but my ear knows STUFF. ArtBrut has got it.
